Vacuum Dehydration

Vacuum Dehydration

Don't let ‘water contamination’Dampen your ‘Profits’ !
Two primary types of contamination include dirt and water.Water is an almost invisible contaminant with a dramatic impact on the efficiency and longevity of oil systems, making it costly for industry to ignore. In addition, water in oil may also lead to the growth of various harmful microorganisms. Actively filtering moisture from lubricants can prevent contamination-related problems such as oxidation, degradation, and corrosion. Microcare vacuum dehydration systems.
Principle of Operation
Gently heated oil is injected into a vacuum chamber thus extracting dissolved moisture, air and gases from the oil at 450C to 550C.
  • Removes free, emulsified and dissolved water, particulate, and gaseous contamination from petroleum and synthetic-based fluid.
  • Prevents oxidation & extends oil change period.
  • Indirect & controlled heating of oil.
  • No loss of oil yielding 100 % recovery after dehydration.
  • Maintains original properties of fluid being dehydrated.
  • Prevents excessive wear of machine components.
  • Protection against malfunctions, break downs and total failures.
  • Additionally conserves environment by reducing oil consumptions and oil disposal.
  • Liquids that can be dehydrated
  • Hydraulic Oil
  • Lubricating Oil
  • Transmission Oil
  • Straight Cutting Oil
  • Gear Oil
  • Any other synthetic/mineral oil
Choosing the Right Oil Filtration Option
Careful evaluation of the situation—including
  • Existing and desired cleanliness levels for filter selection
  • Fluid viscosity for pump selection
  • Location for frame selection
  • Determines which filtration solution, would be most efficiently and cost effectively. Constantly maintain your oil clean and dry at the desired standards (NAS / ISO), removing particles, water and oxidation from oil, resulting in reduced wear on components. This can extend the lifetime of the oil with a factor 3-4, and improve your up-time significantly.
The best way to evaluate the efficiency of offline filtration is to perform a test. MICROCARE Offline Filtration can reach measurable targets in any application.
    Applications
  • Offline decontaminating systems
  • Pre-filtering new oil
